I am an organizational sociologist; I study organizations to better understand how they shape discourse around innovation. My primary research agenda looks at the interplay between organizational culture and innovation. As part of this, I study how organizational forms intersect with urban planning, social movements, politics, innovation, climate change, and inequality in various ways. The focus is on organizations because everything happens in organizations.
